Activity: Complete the following on-line activity on the 4 P's assignment using any 2 Directly Competing companies. Use the carts below, or make your own to compare.
When you are done, write down which company you feel has the better Marketing Mix and why.
Product mix, what are some examples of the products they offer? Are they all the same type of product (category) or are they different?
Promotions, how do they advertise and promote, eg. website, t.v. ads, social media etc.
Price, what is a sample price of a product? Does it vary by place? Is there a price range?
Placement, where is the product available for sale, stores, on-line, all areas of Canada, other countries, etc.
